I design websites the old-fashioned way, by hand. I don’t use WYSIWYG programs. All of my designs are drawn up with pencil and paper, then move to Adobe Photoshop. I hand code websites on a per-site basis, so each website gets the code it needs. One size does not fit all.
I use modern, semantic code structure in order to produce good SEO right out of the bag. No tricks here, just good, smart code.
I build the backend for the designs I make using ExpressionEngine. Tailored to fit each clients needs, this CMS gives my clients serious publishing power. I often create written user guides as well as video tutorials to help once the keys to the website are handed over.
In addition to that, I have been designing in print for the past 7 years. Clients include Pepperdine University Graziadio School of Business, The City of Commerce, The Woodland Hills Chamber of Commerce, and dozens more. My print work spans user manuals to 120-page directory magazines to full-page advertisements.
