Look at the homepage for Mediabistro. What a mess. Barely any definition between individual posts, hard to tell what’s an ad and what’s not, and their header looks like an ad itself. Their sole brand image sits nestled into a small corner in the upper corner.

Navigation looks like it uses drop downs, but it doesn’t.

Consistent styling is not something they understand, so why would I pony up $15 for a video on: 

“Find out how to drive traffic to your site by making your content as “usable” and enticing as it can be.”
